Recently, I’ve been shooting new photographs for my ongoing series of Artist Portraits. My intent? To craft a grounded, confident, strength that pulses into the mood of this collection of photographs.

In the top portrait meet Larnie & Bodil Fox. I’d like to share my inspiration behind making this image… The “disheveled quality” of the location is, well, overwhelming. Nothing is straight. Everything is messy - cattywampus, if you will. And then there is Larnie and Bodil, totally unphased by the surrounding chaos. Wearing outfits that are not coordinated, they both stand out and yet are camouflaged in the room at the same time. Calm optimism can be read on their faces. The Foxes are multimedia artists and experimental sound musicians. Sometimes it takes [fellow] crazy artists to make sanity out of these times!
