Watch Bada Bing a documentary profile film I wrote, directed and edited for Cultivate Community Food Co-Op. This was a Turn-Key production. I love the Real People and sincere, honest vibe of this piece. Their passion reads on the screen. The informal looseness of the camerawork enhances the cast’s charm, thus creating a feeling of genuine connection - THAT IS OUR SIGNATURE - whether we have a storytelling screen time of 10 seconds or 10 minutes. We are shooting more and more branded content pieces for our clients. This piece was designed to be 6 1⁄2 minutes. That said, I edited the video to unfold into chapters; each chapter is then edited to stand on its own as shorter 30 to 60 second videos for social media campaigns. Having bite-sized teaser pieces for social is paramount in today’s advertising market. I always keep this technique in mind throughout the process of writing, directing, and then editing. I shot this with a nimble sized crew. Our documentary style videos can usually be shot with a crew of about 5 people — sometimes, even less! And YES, we have devised COVID-19 social distancing practices for working safely on set. turn-key or traditional production, you choose We now offer TURN-KEY PRODUCTION which can often streamline a project, while simultaneously reducing costs for the client... a win-win. Yay! When it comes to tv spots and branded content, we can offer a couple of different production methods: 1) Turn-Key Production: Where we write the script, produce, direct, edit, add VFX, color grade, record the VO, write & engineer the music, and finish. We will hand you the deliverables for broadcast as well as cut-downs and “vertical edits” for Instagram, Facebook, etc. We are doing it all, but you will be kept in the loop the whole time giving us feedback while we achieve our common goal. 2) Traditional Production: You share your boards with us and we give you our insight. We then match the project’s needs to the most appropriate production company we freelance with to assemble the perfect team. From there we produce and direct the shoot. After we wrap, we pass the assets over to you, to finish with your post production editing house. For comparison, here are two spots that went the Traditional Production route:
