feature: winery libraries and vineyard portfolios One of the things I most enjoy about wine industry work (well, besides, you know) is the fact that I get to shoot portraits, lifestyle, still lifes & landscapes all on the same assignment. Being based in the San Francisco Bay Area, nestled just south of wine country - Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley and the Mendocino Coast - offers a great opportunity to take advantage of my own backyard. More times than not there is a rich story that accompanies the heritage of the wine maker. I love to bring that backstory to life through my still and moving images. My wine country work has now been gathered into a concise feature gallery on my website. The photos are not only for ads, websites and editorial assignments, but also for photo libraries as well. The experience I’ve had in shooting the wineries directly translates to how I approach shoots for others business sectors, like the technology industry, healthcare & pharmaceutical, and shoots with people & food. I always strive to make each industry’s profile unique and to reveal the special character of that specific business. I am passionate about filming these types of projects and look forward to capturing many more profiles on interesting businesses and creators, where my camera and I can do the storytelling that hits all the right notes. |
